I’ve created change my whole adult life. Unfortunately one of the changes was my weight – up and down, down and up. I had the usual span of sizes and always looked at others and wished that I could be “normal” like them. I dreamed of staying at the same weight – one that was not listed on the heavy, or over weight charts. I wanted to feel good and wear kool clothes. Life went on and there were very few days when I didn’t think about how I was going to start over the next day. I walked, I learned to run, I even did a triathlon, but I still was on the rollercoaster of weight.


Change is important to how I live, I’m not happy doing to same thing every day. That pertains to my work, play and entertainment. I found that change was the right thing to help me become healthy and reach toward my “dream” weight. Change is what I found at Form and Fitness. I found a great place that allows me to pick a different form of exercise each time I walk in the door – one day is the bike, the next is the Power Class. As soon as I get bored, there is a different machine to challenge me, or a different class to take. Someone doubted that I would keep going after the first 2 months of “fun” – I’ve been coming for almost 2 years, averaging 2-5 times a week. This change has allowed me to challenge my body – and it has responded with a drop of 4 pants sizes and 25 pounds so far.

And a huge celebration for the fact that I’ve kept the 25 pounds off for 5 months – straight though the holidays, all with the help of Form and Fitness and the staff who offer many opportunities to have fun while working out. I’m ready to change again and take off another 10 pounds – I’ll change the weights I lift, I’ll change the time I run, and I’ll ride my bike to Form and Fitness. I’ll take a new class and change my body a little more – no more roller coasters – I’ll have to change my dream, being a “normal” weight is no longer something I have to dream about.
